World class. Raisins, figs, prunes, walnut, chocolate. Only tertiary, obviously. Still very concentrated, especially the deep garnet color I had not expected at all. Top fill level and in very good condition, lucky with the bottle. Unfortunately, it had to be opened because the cork collapsed during transport and the wine started to leak. Special experience!

Still alive, though at its top peek, but will hold a little longer. Lovely unique aromas, though pretty muted at this stage. Very good concentrated flavors, with an elegant structure, loaded with sweet fruit and lovely acidity. Muted in a way though, and feels as if it was better in the past. Tannins are still live but fully integrated and soft, though a little less soft than I expected. I liked this wine, but it was not special in any way (well other than it being a joy even at 50 years old), and lacked complexity which is what I was really looking for. A tasty and good wine that provided a nice experience, though not the most interesting one. Expecting better from its older brother - the 52.

Still drinking well. Leather, smoke, dark fruit, long, complex finish.
