Superb showing. Displaying some honied, waxy qualities, some petrol, slate and an abundance of apricots, peaches and apples. Riveting, lip-pursing acidity. So lengthy, tangy and piercing. This seems to be holding on; on a nice drinking plateau. Purchased in 2004 for $22 and perfectly cellared.

Wow. In an amazing place at 21. A touch of soft petrol, honeyed peach, citrus and some nutty tones. On the palate, vibrant acidity, well-judged sweetness, fantastic texture. Everything I want in aged riesling.

Markus birthday (Markus Home): Nose: Typical "slate" note, white peach, a bit of honey & herbs. Palate: Surprisingly moderat in acid, a not to high sweetness and so easy to drink & enjoy. Great finish of this tasting.

6 Liters of Mondavi and Some Randoms (Willamette Wine Storage): On the nose, more honeyed than apple. But on the palate, got nice acidity and more traditional apple flavors, that actually bordered on apple cider. Do I prefer some Wehlener to Zeltinger? Must investigate.
