La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting vertical. Magnum. Big and fleshy red and black cherry with savory spice, all well balanced for a 2009 Grand Cru at this stage. Very good length. Very good now, with further upside, 92+ points, drink over the next two decades.

A Corton that does not need decades but is drinking well now with a decant. Sappy core of black berries, very good length and grip with slightly drying tannins. Less Corton minerality but more on the earthy/sauvage.

2 hour slo-o. Still a baby but exhibits an enticing earthy bouquet with bright cherries on a beautifully round and delicious palate. Finish has good length. Destined to be be a great wine with decades of drinking ahead.

Drinking very well. Dark ruby color with light and fragrant nose. Red fruits and smooth tannins. Refined with nice mouth feel.
