Shows a waxy texture with ripe flavors of dried peaches and tangy stone fruits. Very mineral-infused at this stage with good acidity and sneaky length. At Penavic dinner atop 15 Hudson Yards.

At its best, the 2010 Pavillon blanc offers a nice tropical nose with creamy accents but it's not quite as articulate as the 2008. Notably, this might be the least successful case of wine I have ever opened - of the dozen from OWC 2 were corked, 4 undrinkably oxidized, and 4 with drinkable but variable premox. Only 2 bottles of 12 showed what one would hope to see.
Light to medium lemon yellow. A bit tight on the nose with notes of buttered toast, grapefruit, melon and honeysuckle. Medium acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Nice tanginess with notes of tropical fruit, lemongrass and minerality. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2025.

Château Margaux vertical dinner (Taberna Del Alabardero): A relatively more steely aspect as compared to the other whites tasted in this series. Sure, it exudes fine balance between the acidity and the (relative) fat, but lacks the "personality" of the 2006 and the nuanced richness of the 2015. Could it be in a somewhat mute phase? Normally 2010 whites are more expressive.

AHA Hearts Delight Vintners Dinner with Chef Daniel Boulud (Mellon Auditorium - DC): An interestingly slightly thick oaky and buttery body. Light citrus lemon on the initial attack and nose.
