By far better bottle than tasted this March, no sign of tiredness or overpowered by caramel or other tertiaries. Like every vintage, made by single varietal of SB. Medium golden colour. Intense aroma of honey, lemons, peaches, pears, apples, wax, acacia blossoms. Medium+ body, saline, earthy and smoky with lively and vibrant structure, beautiful tension and freshness, lemony crisp and juicy high acidity, long and focused finish.

Tasted blind along another vintage of 2004 which was so fresh and vibrant I couldnt believe its from the same producer. 2000 unfortunately felt a bit tired and over the peak with tertiaries taking over. Deep yellow colour. Aroma of smoke, earth, flint, vax, dried apples, old cupboard. Palate has silky entry, with smoky and saline flavours, diminishing fruitiness and freshness, mineral salinity along vibrantly juicy acidity.

Fresh, crisp, lemon, yes. I don't find it intense, however, maybe influenced by another bottle Kistler vine hill 2010. This one is lighter in almost every aspect, the aroma, taste and acidity. Nice wine after all.

Mid lemon. Still fresh and crisp, with luxorious, almost Condrieu-like texture. White flower, lemon and lanolin. Intense and lengthy. Still has life left in it. (93 Excellent wine)

Amber tinged yellow. Nose oxydative, some blew off with time. Aged lemon, touch herbal. Taste as the nose. Drink up.
