Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 88 points

  • Bought from Ginsberg+Chan in Hong Kong

Tawny to orange colour at the rim
Nose shows subtle dried red cherry, moss, earth, dried flowers and a good dose of VA.
On the palate though...this wine jumps to life...sweet dried cherry, raspberry, strawberry, tar, black tea, soy, earth, clove and dried flowers.
The finish is medium with moderate complexity with a bit of unresolved alcohol coming through.

This is sound....definetly not over the hill...just really depends on how you like your nebbiolo...for me this is about 10-20 years too old but a really interesting bottle to taste and file in the memory.
