SLDS November 2021: Ferrous and earthy, black cherry and spice. Has substance and depth to the palate, with lovely sweet fruit reigned in by the savoury flavour. Excellent.

Delicious combination of site, vintage and producer. Seamless expression, with delicacy and restrained intensity. Sits comfortably with fruit and savoury notes balancing each other. Drinks well now. Further ageing may reward with more complexity.

Spicy and floral, fine but full, dense and long. Good depth here on which to age.

De Chambolle à Morey - Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Gilly-les-Citeaux): Wine tasting. All black fruit, very dense on both nose and palate. Rather compact on palate gives it an inaccessible character, this wine will need plenty of time in cellar.
