Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • After going through almost a case of this 10 years ago, I found a bottle in the corner of the cellar. Worth a try on a Monday night. Bright ruby to orange/amber at rim; a very nice nose of brambles, under brush and red fruits - quite alive and well; the acid/struture certainly dominates the pallet, though the first 20 minutes are very pleasant. A nice dinner wine that quickly cracks - but what do you expect? A good surprise, but glad this was the last bottle. (14 upon opening)
