  • After an intensive horizontal tasting session chez Perrot-Minot, I had the impression that the house style seems to be high toned, seductive aromas, sweet red fruit based core and fine extraction. This wine is no exception. Very generous, aromatic nose of rose petal, white pepper, cedar, well-integrated oak. Tannins a bit tight, but ripe at this stage. Medium plus acidity. great structure. Long finish with notes of baking spice, such as clove and cinnamon. (The grapes have been partially destemmed manually by removing the main stalk from each cluster while leaving the small stalks that connect the berries behind using a pair of scissors). Well balanced. Needs at least 10 years.
