Very classic nose with tobacco and earth and excellent presence, Lots of freshness and presence in the mouth, quite primary of course, and even a little bit raw or rough in a way that was most pleasing and promising. In its own way lovely now, very good future.

60% Cab, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot. Last surviving estate within Bordeaux city limits. Sand and gravel soils. 50 acres, HD 4050 vines per acre. 14 months in French oak. Deep ruby to purple, complex nose, cherry, fresh and loaded with flavors, full bodied yet refined, blackberries, oak, dark cherry, cloves, lovely tannins, long finish. One of my favorites.

Medium-bodied, floral, firm, and fresh, the red fruits range from sweet to tart, showing a savory, spicy edge on the mid-palate and in the grippy, tannic, currant and cocoa finish. Give it a year or two to allow the tannins to soften and the wine should be even better. Drink from 2024-2040.

UGCB tasting Bordeaux 2020 Walkaround tasting so in general just short notes (Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.): Primary red and dark berries in the bouquet and on the palate. Fresh acidity and sticky tannin.

The 2020 vintage UGCB tasting in Amsterdam 03/06/2023 (Amsterdam): Also in red the '20 is a good wine with a good combination of freshness (good citrus) and ripeness (ripe fruit), but not too much, balanced and with good tannins in the aftertaste.
