my parents wedding year, so i opened one up when they came over for dinner. Leather and forrest floor in the nose, dry bitter and watery in the palate. Long past good!

My last bottle from a futures purchase dating back to the early years of the Reagan Administration. (I should have offered a taste to his son but they had already gone home.) Very little fruit or tannins remain but if you love old French wine (Parker says that this vintage was the last of the old-timers winemaking style) go find a bottle. There was plenty of character remaining in the bottle.
