Drinking really well. Soft tannins - fruit still very robust. I’d say it would certainly keep for longer - but really enjoyed it over Easter dinner.

From 0,375. Opened right from the cellar. A bit too cold. First a bit muted. Then some smoke, cedar, a bit of spices and dark fruit. Very classic Medoc CS style in its aroma profile. Ripe tannins. Builds body and becomes more complex with time. Very balanced. No hard edges but still a character. Had the 1990 some time ago. Start to develop a liking to this chateau. Delivers in easy and more challenging years and is still at a reasonable price.

This wine has come into a good spot. Much improved since the last bottle we tasted. Balanced with modest tannins.
