I’ve opened a few bottles of this wine over the past years and on previous visits the wine was too young and a bit disappointing. This bottle, however, was a delight. Drinking perfectly. Burnt raspberry and redcurrant with long finish and some older tones coming through. The wine is starting to get that red brick hue on the margin so wonder if this is near the peak drinking.

Well, quintessential Burgundy nose. Smoke, meat, mushroom, Black fruit. Smooth and elegant pallets with mild tannins. Guarded finish losing its expression. Structured, balanced and moderately complex.
Day 2 the wine struggled for identity. Lost it’s elegance to high acid firm tannins. Some wood tannins as well. Still very good just not as good as last night.

In the name of science.... bt breathed for 4 hrs where initial puff of reduction(?) blew off. Sweet floral aroma, candied red and blue fruits and hint of spice in a clear ruby hue. Ample acidity and grippy tannin masked the lovely fruits that were only revealed from the long after taste. Obviously needed more time in cellar. Good potential.

Medium body with a slightly spicy finish at the end with young tannins; not too much fruit present and the nose isn't impressive yet. Look forward to tasting another one in 5+ years

Quite complex on the nose, but marked by oak, with coffee and a touch of barnyard. Palate is dark fruit. Ready to drink in my view.
