This was pretty good from the pop 'n pour, with some very good "Rhone Ranger" aromas and flavor profile. Good weight and mouthfeel - there was only a little VA that I thought detracted from the overall enjoyment. Was better with food. If scoring, 87 - 88.

Balanced and Pinot like smooth on the palate with plentiful berry notes, white pepper and a deep abiding umami character that rocked with mushroom pasta and steak. Huge value per dollar!
