From magnum. This has aged beautifully and is in its drink-me-now phase. Elegant, with all five varietals seamlessly integrated. Lightly herbal with black fruit accents. Outstanding.

This is past its time. It's showing much more prune notes and alcohol versus any bright dark fruit. It got a little better with some air but not much. Time to pull a cork if you own one.

From magnum and signed by Doug, served for Mother’s Day dinner with H&M. Still drinks incredibly well, likely because of its large-format bottle. Buckets of blackberries, raspberries and apricot pit balanced by a vein of acidity and a still-there dose of barnyard and wet dog. Enchanting cigar box and herbs in the bouquet. Much more balanced than when last tasted almost four years ago. My guess is that it’s past prime in the 750 ml size. But beautiful out of the magnum. One bottle left.

Delightful Rhône blend. Very fruit forward with good acidity. Tasted a bit tight at first but once opened, offered good mouthfeel, especially for the price.

Nose includes raspberry, cassis, stewed prunes, sausage. Deep, rich on the palate. Lots of funk (blood, rubber, meat). Full bodied, high smooth tannins. A little excess CO2. Nicely balanced, reasonably complex - nice wine.
