I think it's beginning to enter the peak of its evolution. Juicy dark fruit coats the entire palate. Luscious. The wine lingers on the palate long after it glides down. (Corked then refrigerated) Day 3: My god, this is so rocking. It's giving a lot of high-end CdRs/lower CdPs I've had a run for their money. It's full-bodied with great extract. It displays ripe boysenberry, blackberry, sage, dried leaves, and smoke. Crushed rocks. Perfect acidity and a 20+ sec. finish. I really liked this back in '05, but I love this right now (92pts).

We tasted this in our wine tasting event and it scored the highest overall. I personally thought it was a nice solid wine that meets all expectations. Order a case for your cellar to use when guests come over for dinner. It has such a broad appeal.

Lots of sweet raspberry fruit, silky texture. Mineral notes come out more after an hour in the decanter. This will likely be more complex in the next couple of years.

Atlanta Off-line featuring otisabdul (The High Life Restaurant - Atlanta, GA): No decant. Wonderfully rich and floral nose. Jammy, youthful, bouquet of flavors of sweet blue and black wild berries, meats, white and black pepper and packed with many other fruits. A deftly balanced blend of syrah, grenache, mourvedre, counoise and cinsaut. Has a fine, smooth texture matched with a long lingering finish. A real treat to drink in its youth and should hold up well for years. The waiter said it would make a great spread for his toast.
