I fell in line with most of the ratings .mostly due to the alcohol heat being dominant. But enough dark fruit and tasty garigue aromatics and a nice 15 second finish almost drove me to give it a 90. Still this is big but good CDP and I look forward to my last bottle as this still has a lot of life and the softening tannins might let more fruit emerge. And I agree very much with one of the other raters that it is a good burger wine.

Says 15% Alc and taste like its all of that. Heady alc dominated. Hard to access anything else about this wine. I'm drinking these up with Burgers and heavy meals. No longer in my wheelhouse. I'll also start giving away some of my other CDPs to non wine geek friends and coworkers. Pretty hard to enjoy unless you love big heavy amped up wines. A mercy, benefit of the doubt, 87pt score.

PnP in Riedel Burg glass and let breath for 20 minutes. Solid, balanced, robust, tasty CDP but, like most of CDPs, best served at cellar temp 55-62 degrees tops. Paid $34 on release. ALC 15%.
