This wine had a yellow center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose took many hours to develop. It showed vanilla custard, lemon, white stone, and apple. It eventually developed some white flowers and honey.
Refined and integrated in the mouth, this wine had great length. It developed nicely with extended air.
This still needs time in the cellar or extended decanting. It reminds me of the 85 White Burgs in its reticent nature. This wine may well pick up a point or two with 5+ years in the cellar.

(François Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos) Medium yellow color; focused, ripe lemon and grapefruit nose, with lemon peel; tasty, rich, lemon oil and tart citrus palate; medium-plus finish

Great bottle of this. Showing lovely balance and depth. But definitely at peak to drink now.

Viscous beast when poured. Palate mellows but retains tension and purity. Hot stuff. Could use more time this one.
