Mature garnet. Mature Burgundy, in a more rustic, savoury, wild sauvage, animale frame, hints of cola, chinotto, complex spice, and a flinty, pungent, limestone mineralite.

Dark cerise. Very lovely feminine nose of dark floral scents, red fruits, subtle spice framing a mineral core. Weightless but relatively restrained palate, menthol-like medicinal quality, still very youthful.

Mute phase is over! This is a totally different wine than three years ago. Glad I waited. Lots of red fruit, mushroom and wet forest floor on the nose. The palate is silky and acidity is medium plus, very dry, alcohol is unperceivable. Elegant bottle with a nice mid-length finish.

Le fruit s'est estompé pour faire place à des notes viandées et de sous-bois autant au nez qu'en bouche. On dirait un bourgogne qui aurait fait une escale sur les rives du Rhône

Medium-pale cerise. Funny, I think I haven’t had a Dujac in years, but this one instantly transports you back with that unique signature. Prototypically Morey nose: pungent, complex mineralite, flinty, smoky, sous bois, rustic yet refined, a hint of the right kind of animale, spearmint. Palate youthful but approaching maturity, very fine background tannin but weightless, almost devoid of fruit but again a predominantly mineral wine of great complexity. Refined wine of great finesse.
