Excellent / Very Good++. I don't have many descriptors to provide here. This is not notably complex or deep, but it is a so pure and classy. Some ripe red fruits, restrained, some background earthy elements. Very clean without being clinical. Food friendly and also night to sniff and sip on its own.

Second bottle of a 3pack. I'm a fan of Pavelot, in general. Still rather primary, and perhaps just isn't that successful in 2012. Lacks something in the middle. And it's not wound like I thought. Red fruit, a rather supple palate. Pleasing. Decent wine. Wish I paid about $10 less, ideally.

Pretty young Pavelot. Opens very tight (duh!) with tart red fruit wrapped up and a sharp back end. Aired it out and it revealed more sweet blueberry and earth. Actually kind of silky once it settles in. Finishes with a lingering anise and licorice note. Cool. Young, has the right stuff in place.

Pungent earthy aromas, bright red fruits. In perfect harmony now. Room to run but don’t hesitate to check in.
