  This is screamingly great right out of the bottle. Very Lafon in style, bold with orchard fruit and citrus, and some honeyed notes. I think this is at peak and I wonder what Lafon’s premier crus in 2013 can do to top this. Perhaps you could ask for more complexity. Prices being what they are today, I’m not sure I’ll ever find out! 🥵

  Magnum. Drank over three days, and didn't suffer as a result, in fact gained some body. Perhaps lost a bit of freshness on the third day, but that's about it. A very solid village wine that's perfect for drinking now.
