Flowers and minerals in the still somewhat reticent bouquet. Same concerning the palate, juicy white fruits, minerals, pleasant dose of oak and some bitterness in the finish. Needs more air/time in the bottle. 93 – 94+

From magnum. Slightly flinty on the nose with lemon, minerals, and a bit of flowers. Good acidity but overall quite big and rich on the palate with more lemon notes, green apples, and lots of minerals. Long finish. A big wine, but well balanced and with everything needed to age beautifully. 94+

I had sworn off drinking any more 2014 Raveneau until they've had a few more years to mature, but this restaurant bottle was at a price too good to resist. I am happy to report this is in a more ready state to drink than recent bottles of MdT and Valmur. Quite balanced, with lovely minerality and ample fruit. Not the massive electric tension that the best Raveneau can possess, but not slumbering like the other '14's. In sum, if you see it drink it without hesitation.

Wow! Precise, fresh, precise, oystershell and salt here, mouthwatering and intense; loving it.
