  Love this wine. On the nose there was definitely signs of age with tobacco and leather, but on the palate this still came across as vibrant and youthful, with wonderfully balanced fruit and acidity. The tannins were smooth and silky. There's at least 5 if not 10 years ahead for this wine. I only wish I had more of it.

  Beautiful color. Nice flowery nose. Cherries. Slightly oxidized but doesn't detract much. Ready to drink and tasty but the finish is a bit short.

  Tried at the "Stars of Piedmont 1998 Barolo and Barbaresco" tasting at Roberson wine. The Barbaresco flight also included La Spinetta Starderi, Barbaresco Rabaja by Buno Giacosa and Langhe Costa Russi by Gaja. The Ceretto was our least favorite of the wines tasted. It seemed hollow and lacked generosity.
