d'Angerville dinner at Daniel 10/19/2011 (Daniel): Perfect ruby, bricking. Wonderful, ready nose, cedar, fresh but totally secondary, more forest loam than cherries at this point, with a welcome line of herbs to give it some lift. Palate nicely balanced but narrowed with age, plus it was never a powerful vintage to begin with. Drink up. Delicious! (From magnum)

Perfectly resolved, mature nose of sous bois, iron and cherry. Fantastic, body and rounded mouthfeel, with a touch of acidity remaining.
