Coravined 2 glasses to drink with baked smoked haddock. Initially very pale in colour, with greenish tinge, but seemed to take on a light straw note with second glass. Too cold initially, and bone dry, still taut. Opened up as it warmed up, this remains quite an austere Chablis compared to some. Bruised apple notes, and a hint of some riper fruit but this is what 'steely' was made for. Has it got more to give?

Have not tried this for a while and CT tells me only 5 left. If I had checked I would have opened something else instead. This is really good. Maturing at a glacial pace, still pale green flecked lemon in colour. The nose is flinty, saline, mineral and limes. Brackish on the palate, with broader Chardonnay fruit than I was expecting, and a long persistent finish. Broadness might pass with air? Suspect it needs a decant. Check in later. Day 2 and it’s tighter, more lemon and saline. Long future under Diam. next bottle 2026 18.25

Pale, green tinged. On nose and palate a seaside explosion of halide and ozone, iodine, limestone mineralite, Meyer lemon and lime blossom. Still quite reserved and youthful, just entering its window really.

Colourlessly pale.
Smoky, flinty, matchstick nose.
Halide-infused seaside palate with hints of Kaffir.
Actually very nice.

Pale colour with a green tinge. Classic Chablis nose and palate. Very delicate. As others have noted, this will go for a few years yet.
