  • We drank this with homemade Thai massaman curry, a very nice combination. The wine is nutty and complements the earth taste in the curry. It also can stand the intenaity of the curry taste very well.

  • This is a beautiful natural wine that changes a lot over the course of a dinner. It remained interesting and enjoyable throughout and I would not hesitate to have it again.

The first thing about this wine that strikes you is the bouquet upon opening pulling the cork. It is very fragrant and floral which gives way to a more mature sherry or aged chardonnay profile. The colour is golden and there is significant textural weight to this wine but as with many natural wines it is not heavy or cloying.

The wine has well composed balance; acidity, fruit, and considerable length. A hint of oxidised sherry follows on the from pineapple fruit beginning.

Remarkably interesting and enjoyable. It is unlike many other wines I have tried. This would be a great wine to take to a blind tasting to see if anyone could even come close to the wine or the region.

    Delicious overall.

PS: it doesn't taste at all like 13.5% alcohol. It is very refined and thoroughly balanced and super rich.

  • Pleasing corn and chestnut like nose.
Palate shows more acidity and fruits, all very much balanced with layered sous voile character.
    Excellent.

  • Stinky, funky nose of pineapple Tampico. Very hard to appreciate. Will try again.

  • This thing just spewed aromas when the cork was popped, filling the room before it could be poured. Super high toned nose with loads of smoke, white pepper, gun powder, slate, lemon curd, and lime zest. The body is driven by nervous energy (acid) and lush and sweet lemon curd that slowly releases lime and nectarine flavors. There's a sort of dandelion thing going on as well as some raw almonds. The serious texture suggests skin tannin that have only started to release.
