  I thoroughly enjoyed this wine last night, momentarily transported back to Piedmont via the fresh, earthy, flower laden nose of this wine. Decanted for an hour, the nose was more subtle than I expected. It is medium bodied, with soft tannins. I purchased this many years ago from a wine store in Turin as we headed to the Alps for a ski trip. It is drinking well now and will for another 3-5 years. While I loved this wine, I would not rank it high on a qpr scale, perhaps a reflection of our weak Canadian dollar.

  Wine Warehouse Pre Event 2016 Spring Tastings, nose of earth, tar, rich fruit, same on the palate, lots of soft tannins, medium/big body, tastes much better than the nose, needs 5 years to peak, long finish.

  From the Ginestra Cru from about 50% sandy soil on lower altitude than Sori Ginestra and SE-exposure. Notes of flowers, dark red cherries, some spices and tar. It's medium-full bodied with pretty high acidity and high tannin. Good length. This is just a preview but it has good structure and fruit and will probably turn out nice. (91+)
