This was based on the last glass 4 hours after decanting.
First glass maybe a 90 or 91 after decanting. Even after 3 hours in the decanter was uninteresting, not complex. Lots of acidity and dry leaf, more dry leaf and then overlapping dry leaf. All wound up in dry leaf. You get the idea.
I think this was really young. Should prove to be better in 10+ years.
Was glad it at least came around after 4 hours.
Typical burgundy experience, all over the place. Like a cat, can't reign it in and its unpredictable.

2022 Excellent Burgundy Adventure; 10/31/2022-11/6/2022 (Burgundy): Expressive nose displaying generous sweet black fruit with a hint of red, blackberry, blackberry liqueur, black cherry, strawberry, stem, a hint of Vosne spice and sous bois, light caramel and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of generous black fruit, rich yet silky and precise, excellent balance and detail, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a long generous black fruit driven finish with a hint of stem at the end. This clearly expresses the top end Vosne terroir. It is a serious wine yet super delicious.
Initial nose of earthy, dashi-like quality, toasty notes, kernel, red currant, red cherry, salty air, vanilla, orange liquor.
On the palate intense mineality, red cherry, soft earth. Dashi broth.
Medium alcohol, medium body, medium+ acidity. Round, fine but drying tannins lends good structure to the wine. Upon first pour it feels almost light in the mouth, you quickly get its power and presence which builds in the glass with air. There’s a wonderful salty minerality and an incredible length to the finish.
The wine kept evolving in the glass over the course of three hours, with red cherry and cranberry notes coming through more prominently later.
Fantastic, and will only improve with time.

Under DIAM30. I had high expectations for this but it met them and then some. An absolutely gorgeous nose with a mix of brown spice and bright red fruit -- currants, cranberries, tart cherries, that sort of thing. Behind that exposition are some slight underbrushy elements. You can clearly see the secondary development just starting to emerge. The palate is light but powerful; it is very well balanced with a disposition that is fully in line with the nose. The acidity is prominent but framed by sweet (and ripe) red fruits. Drinking outstandingly well for my palate right now, but the potential for further aging is undeniable.
