Wine is dark red, slightly purplish in color.
The nose is very lovely sweet candied plums, blackberries and bluberry tart.
The wine has round tannins, good mouthfeel, and a lot of fruit. Chako found the tannins still a bit rougher than she would like. But we enjoyed this wine. 89-90 pts. This winery is right next to our apartment.
Tasted at Etablissement Martin in St Emilion.

Light little gem. Best from a 45 St. Emilion tasting at the KC.

This is another 2015 that had really stepped up since bottling. Forward, soft and supple, here you find earthy, polished, sweet, cherries, plums and fennel that carry through to the ripe, sweet, red berry and licorice filled finish.

Better from bottle, than when last tasted in barrel, the wine has gained in richness, texture and complexity. The forward, soft textured, supple wine offers an earthy, polished, sweet, ripe, plum, cherry and licorice profile with a fresh, ripe, slightly, dusty finish. The wine was made from a blend of 85% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.

2017 Grands Crus Classes of St. Emilion, nose of black berry, plum, and gravel, same on the palate, medium/big body, subdued fruit, needs 4 years to peak drinking window, nice fruit, medium amount of bitter tannins, medium finish.
