Tasted at dinner at Couvent des Jacobins. Interesting nose. Soft tannins. Fruit is still there but acidity is rather high. Not as balanced as the 1947 tasted alongside. Relatively youthful for its age and actually better than other examples of 1971 second growths tasted previously. Prefer the 1947 and 1983 but nevertheless a good example of well aged Bordeaux wine.
