Doubled decanted for sediment of which there was next to none. Given that the light color that followed and made sense. Opened blind with wine group, no one got it right. Very good showing for this bottle. If like this one you can wait a few at least for the next one.

The most beautiful thing about this wine now, is the color. Its ultra light in body and bricked through and through. I looks like an old Burgundy from the 90's in the glass. So elegant and beautiful looking. The wine is definitely in decline mode with a faded fore palate, followed by stone fruit and a dry finish and a re-entry of petrol and a gentle fade...I have had this in a cold cellar since release and always thought it was ready to drink right at release...Feel like I held this too long for my taste. DRINK

ESTG does Piedmont: Mmmm, juicy, nice structure, some caramel on the nose but overall quite enjoyable.
