Supper matches (KC's place): Acetone over cherry that proves quite sour and fresh on the palate which, itself, has quite reasonable breadth. There is a touch of dirtiness here as well which I kind of like.

Coravin fun - old new arrivals (Kennards, Waterloo): From Coravin. Sour cherry and crushed rocks, sweet & fragrant berry notes as well. Sour and juicy fresh black cherry on the palate, not at all confected, really nice and damn slurpable. This is ready to go…I'm not sure what with, perhaps itself…and me.

Spanish Fiesta Sydney 2017 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Perfumed black fruits, lightweight & fresh nose, touches of cream and muted crushed rock. Juicy, fleshy with fine tannins, feels like some whole berry and that might explain that perfumed quality on the nose. Rather quaffable and pleasantly enjoyable.

Laser-y raspberry fruit, some black pepper, not a lot. More exotic pepper than black. Not too much of an interruptive pepper. Some savory, meatiness to the palate.

Strong taste of sour cherries when initially opened however after 3 days of benign neglect the flavours became much more balanced.
