The minerals, red fruit, and green garden/bell pepper nose is like a punch in the face three inches from the glass, extremely fragrant! The palate is bright red fruit, minerals, spices. A wow for me tonight, paired well with roasted duck breast and the following cheese course (blue, of course). Unmistakably new world, but would never have guessed this was an Aussie Rhone blend, at first I pegged it as from Napa!
