Wonderfully aromatic - much more so than Melton's Voice of Angels Shiraz, tasted at the same time. Quite appropriately, as Charles Melton was talking as I was tasting this, saying, 'We make perfumed wines, not fruity wines.' It's joyous: generous, complex and perfectly balanced. Voice of Angels has a little more subtlety, but this has youthful exuberance. An Australian classic. 14.5%, screwcap.
