Ruby red with lighter rim. Apparent nose with ripe garden berries, soft sweetness with some spice. Soft, concentrated and full bodied. Warm and long finish with some spice. Top ripe Savigny.

Ruby red with lighter rim. Open nose with ripe garden berries, some sweetness and some secondary aromas. Soft fruit, great concentration, full bodied. Ripe fruit. Warm and long finish. Some spice. A very nice and ripe Savigny with some future ahead.

No notes, but excellent over two nights and at its best the first night after a couple hours of air. Glad I waited to pop the first of these. No hurry here. Great QPR in low-$30s USD (five years ago). 13% abv

Popped and poured. Smells nice, with spice and smoke accents. Initially sappy red fruits, that turn darker in tone with air. The wine also gains a little structure as it opens. Good concentration here, and the wine has a very long, sweetish finish. Pretty tasty now, but there is probably some upside ahead.
