Decanted three (3) hours. Presents aromas of black currant, blackberry, plum, liquorice, cedar & violet. Densely packed with luscious presence on the palate. Gives way to long generous finish. Serious structure belies a rewarding future ahead. Re-visit in 3-5 years.

Drank right after opening (aerated into a decanter first) at about 65 degrees. Moderate acidity and lots of fruit and nose up front. Tannins start to work in the mid palate and I thought it was a very pleasant, dry finish. Well-crafted bottle and I wish I had had the time to let it sit for a couple of hours. Should continue to drink well for years. Excellent expression of St Emilion

Nose of truffle, rich spices, and damp flowers. Very rich and reminiscent of old rich quality wines. Nose brightens a bit over time.
Palate is rich and elegant. Wet Stone and Blackberry up front. Silky soft tannins on the middle with tart cherry and soft chocolate. Graceful acidity on a chewy finish with a lasting note of blueberry on the edges. Pleasantly smoky note after decanting

Very light wine, feels low on acidity, drinks itself well but does not show anything outstanding. Fruit is a bit lacking for my taste.

Even with 6 hrs of air this was pretty tight and compact, yet brimming with potential. Hold. A reward will be coming.
