  • Noir fruit, salumi, milk chocolate, flower shop and wet earth. Long and panoramic, with layered, silky tannins. Full body with a backend that is polished. Stunning fruit and not in a dumb phase at all; however, this could definitely go the distance. A pure joy. Drink 2026 -.

  • Deep, dark garnet in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, spices, tobacco, cocoa, herbs & a hint of cedar in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, mulberries & dark cassis with sweet spices, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the fruit & structure to develop further with additional aging.

  • Very rough and tight on opening, surprisingly backward. Slow ox for 10 days (yes). Held up well. Very aromatic with sweet dark cherry dominating. Palate is deep and long with dark fruits. Tannins much softer and oak less obvious.

  • Really powerful Saint Emilion from Merlot, Cab. Franc and a little Cab. Sauvignon. A different style then Pavie Macquin and Larcis Ducasse and at the moment a little bit more on the "rough" side with aromas of dark/red fruits, tobacco and earth/wood. The tannins are a little rough at the moment but the wine is really good and will benefit from cellaring. Probably it is not so well suited for drinking young like the other two mentioned above. But also really good QPR.
