A really appealing nose of earth, sourdough yeast, wet leaves, ripe papaya, and vanilla. The round texture shows flavors of lemon/lime pith, pineapple, and butter cream. It has very well balanced acidity, which lasts all the way through the finish. Really good now, but will be even better with a few more years in bottle, methinks.

Monthly Tasting Group: California: Anything but Napa (BLVD Kitchen & Bar, Wayzata, MN): Medium gold color. Small glass. Ripe, lemon curd, oarnge peel, full bodied, fleshy, grilled peach, spicy, some heat. I preferred the '16 Hudson tonight.

exceptional. Didn't take any notes and draw a few days ago... but singing and could age about 6+ more years, really outstanding.
