THis, my last bottle, was simply delicious. No signs of damage or defects. Muted in the nose at first but notes of honey appeared after time in glass. FIne structure with bracing acidity and exceptional length. Delicious. Sad to see the last of that case!

Well, do much for keeping the second bottle for a few years. Opened this by mistake (wasn't paying attention), but I certainly wasn't disappointed.
Medium gold. Pronounced aromas of baked apple, quince, pear, lemon rind, almonds, wet wool, wax. Fully developed. Off dry (some RS), high acidity, full body, medium alcohol, long finish, palate similar to the nose, with some stone fruit too and spice on the finish. Outstanding wine. Equally good on day 2. Drinking perfectly now, but has the acidity and fruit concentration to last for another 5 years.
I'm sorry for those who have had bad experiences of this wine. I've had two perfect bottles, no sign of premature oxidation mentioned elsewhere (which surprises me as it isn't typical of Chenin Blanc, that I know of), or any fault linked to the cork (this cork in perfect condition).

UWS a random set of wines (@ JB): Ripe and sweet yellow fruits in the bouquet. On the palate some sweetness and good acidity. Clean and fresh wine.

Excellent: golden, nectarines on the nose, dry with acidity still, lovely complexity and length
