Cork shredded on opening. Lovely bright golden colour. Fully mature and at peak. Rich and fairly sweet with plenty of tropical fruit. Drink soon as this is unlikely to improve further. Excellent.

This bottle tasted fully resolved and mature. Gold but dulling a little. Ripe Riesling fruit nose, nice but not special. And decent, solid fruit, ripe, sugar fading but quite classic. More evolved than expected. Need to try another soon.

(Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese) Spicy apricot and tart peach nose; tasty ripe and spicy peach and mineral palate; medium-plus finish

Yellow. Nose of a fruit cup, citrus dominates. Taste smooth, balanced, fruit cup, moderate sweet.
