From a half bottle that just arrived. The wood tannins are obvious but cannot suppress the intense cherries and cranberries. This will benefit from resting a little.
The next day, the wood tannins are less obvious. Intense cherry core. Has the bitter mineral taste of wine made from grapes under some kind of stress during the growing season.
