Deep red. Bright red fruits, but with notes of leather and tobacco emerging on the finish. Tannins are pretty well integrated. Not sure this will get much better - drinking well now.

Cassis, tart cherry, Italian herbs, cedar, black pepper, mint. This has great lift and spice. Electric. Despite not being a traditional grape still tastes "Italian." Long life ahead.

Double decant and slow ox for 12 hours. Red fruit galore. Spicy. Bright acidity. A medicinal streak. Had this on table with 6 other bottles. This was unanimously everyone’s least favorite. Pretty disappointing indeed.

Double-decanted the night prior. Notwithstanding, the final sip, some ~ 30 hours later was the most complete/best. Sappy black/dark red fruits, with plenty of dry extract, and commendable structure. A wine I'm probably in the mood to drink once or twice per year, and even then only in the company of fans of this style. HOLD. In that context, it's easily highly recommended
This needed a lot of time to open up (about a day). It was also quite a bit better when lightly chilled (which wasn't intentional…I had just put it in the fridge and forgot to take it out early enough before serving on the second day). A beautiful Tuscan red that has a long life ahead of it. Decant quite a bit before serving if enjoying in the near-term. It's a tad funky, spicy, and all bright red fruit to me right now.
