Wow! Dark color with only hints of bricking. Great fruit on the palate, still very lively. Tannins totally integrated, good acid balance. Med+ finish of sweet, aged fruit.

Garnet, 1/4" clearing at the rim. Smells nicely of shoe polish, red cherries and dusty tobacco. There's some clove and cinnamon spice in the midpalate. This is cleanly made and still holding on. Acidity and tannins are integrated. Graceful old school California Cabernet.

Cherry on the nose, green pepper on the palate with very weak to non existent tannins/fruit. Fun to try, but this is barely hanging on. Drink IMMEDIATELY.

Cloudy brown crimson core, with a dark brown brick rim. The only high notes on the nose are the faintest whiff of dried cherry and cedar, else this is all wet boots with a hint of shoe polish. While obviously mature on the palate due to the smooth, languid fruit flavors, this still retains a tart tannic edge around the tongue's perimeter. A good wine a bit past its prime, but pleasant nonetheless.

Red brick color, particularly around the rim. Astringent and tightly wound at first, but after decanting for several hours became more expansive. Still, the flavors are a bit faded, and this is past its prime. Not unpleasant, particularly if you enjoy older wines, but no need to hang on to this one much longer.
