Deep ruby. Red fruits and baking spices on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Solid acid backbone. But. It’s got that low end napa cab industrial touch that promises consistency, but not complexity.

Did not take proper notes. PnP. Nearly opaque garnet with red-earth-hued edges. Nose expresses cassis, mulberries and sweet earth. The palate is consistent with the nose...this is a cabernet that tilts towards red fruit, spice and earth (ie, not blackberries or similar dark fruit). Tannins are already well integrated, perceived on cheeks and gums. Long finish of cassis, baking spice and earth. While enjoyable now, its youth is evident and I expect it would be much more smooth and complex after another ~5 years in the cellar (or minimally with a few hours of exposure to air in a decanter).

Gutsy tannins, now built out cabernet, and black currant fruit. Powerful.

Nice off the cork, about 45 minutes later it really opened and was very good. I now have suggested this over wines twice the price.

Yet refocusing once again as a winery apparently. Rich black dark fruit, structured, powerful, really darn good stuff.
