Oily consistence, less sweet than e.g. Lafaurie-Peyraguey. Darker style of Sauternes, voluminous, long finish. Best on day 3 and 4. Very good now , but will improve further, 92+.

Brief impressions only. This showed nice, bright yellow fruits and spices on the nose and palate. The sweetness/acidity balance is quite good and while not weightless, the wine has no excess weight, is not cloying in any form. A bit on the simpler side, probably, and not very well delineated but still lots of fun to drink

Layers of lusciously textured, ripe and overripe, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, candied orange and honey paired with ripping acidity giving you lift and sweet treats galore.

I didn't enjoy this quite as much as other vintages; deep, round flavours and generous mouthfeel, but finished on a slightly sour note. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing how my other bottles develop.
