95 Bordeaux @ Hawksmoor (Hawksmoor, Guildhall): Light to mid gold. Fresh honeyed sweetness without overt botrytis. Light, sweet, peppered pineapple. Good acidity. Just a hint of a medicinal twang on the finish. A zip and line to this. Lip-smacking. ****

Very nice and very ready to enjoy if you like phase one of pineapple dominated Sauternes. Its right on the verge of going into the marmalade phase, but its about 70% pineapple and 20% marmalade with the other 10% being filled with decimated portions of aged cheese and cream wrapped in good acidity. Very nice and super peaking...DRINK 91+
