Pear, nectarine and brown sugar flavors. Slightly off dry. Oily texture. Lovely balance and complexity. For those who want a lot of minerals or acid this might taste a little limp, but I loved it. Score: 93. Relative to expectations: ++

Tasted at the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Masterclass hosted by Olivier Humbrecht MW alongside the 2017 and 2013. This vineyard is planted with low-yielding vines 50-60 years old that are often harvested late.
Excellent wine that has more biscuit/brioche notes due to the extended (7 months+) lees ageing. Elegant notes of honey, stone fruit and smoke.
An excellent wine, and a great expression of terroir.

Golden colour, floral nose, oily mouthfeel, very nice wine to enjoy.

Tropical, big, ripe, and seemed to have a touch of sweetness. Liking it more tonight -seemed more complex and knit together. With J.
