Decanted 48 hours. Tasted blind alongside '16 & '17 Cockburn VP, '16 & '17 Dow VP, and '17 Taylor's VP. Each one could probably be a point higher because the palate got blasted. Great fruit and a long beautiful finish. Gorgeous mouth-feel, best of the night alongside the 17 Dow's. More initial fruit than the 2017 Taylor, but not nearly as bold and powerful, and maybe slightly less balance than either Dow's. Really young but beautiful.

Just opened and will taste over the next few days.
Almost nothing on the nose after opening. Dark ruby and not much sediment yet in the bottle. Straight away, the fruit is up front and there is not a lot else. No secondary flavours and no finish to speak of.

Tasted NB. Too soon to drink this vintage, but opened a 375 to establish a first taste marker. Deep garnet color with exceptional tannin quality and fruit concentration that's already well refined. Should continue to elegantly evolve for a couple decades.
