  I love Merlot, Italian wines, and so this was perfect. Incredible nose, could smell the aroma immediately after the bottle was opened from several feet away. Palate of blueberries, raspberry, black cherry, leather, licorice, tobacco, Italian herbs. Evolved deliciously over dinner. Incredible wine and a great match to my palate.

  Wow! Quel beau merlot à l'italienne. Arômatique, suave, velouté et envoutant. Au nez, petits fruits rouges mûrs, fleurs du jardins, fines herbes. En bouche, ça couvre le palais, et une touche empyreumatique vient lier le tout.
  
  À garder encore de 10-20 ans minimum.

  it took 12 hours and a quadruple decant but the fruit and elegance were shining through for my 2nd favorite wotn
  best of the 3 italian merlot that were had at vinetasters

  Al naso frutto avvolgente. Note di prugna matura, frutti neri ed una punta di tabacco vanigliato.
  In bocca é armonico con un frutto profondo. Anche qua la solita nota di prugna. Acidità elegante e tannino avvolgente.
  Un grande vino. 97/100

  Drack detta i december förra året halvblint med Paleo (CF) och Scrio (Syrah) i flighten och det körde över de andra två ganska rejält då. Men i sällskap av Tertre Rotebeuf 2010 ligger det i lä. Man kan absolut känna samma stil av vin med körsbär, choklad, tobak, den maffiga kroppen, strukturen och en hyfsat lång finish i jämförelse. Men det är fortfarande alldeles för ungt, har blåröd färg fortfarande och har för sträva tanniner.
