Red fruit notes come through heavily on the nose. Touch of smokiness on the nose and finish. Earthy tones to it. Could use some time. Drank the 2018 in 2021, could've given it an easy 5 years to bring out some further earthier depth but drinks well now for fruit forward and Smokey notes.

As I continued my “around the world” tasting it was time for me to try a Canadian wine which led me to the Okanagan BC region of Canada to try this Pinot that I was tasting for the 1st time & I was not disappointed. This pale ruby coloured Pinot displayed medium to slow set of legs with aromas of cherry & pepper. On the palate this wine was smooth & simple with medium mouth watering acidity, low middle of your tongue wood tannins & a low warming alcohol sensation. This is a good simple but not quite epic Pinot Noir that I would recommend & certainly enjoy again in the future. Well done Stewart Family Winery!!!

AHHH, que voilà un PN à mon goût. Du fruit, certes, mais avec de la personnalité laissant en bouche un réel sentiment de satisfaction.

First bottle since Covid - needed to check my palate on something familiar.
Old world styled nose, with some funk, tar, and smoke – Yes, the nose is working!
Mulch & red earth, roasted vegetables, spice, heaps of wood & smoky accents on the palate – only a slight cherry note.
While this is not a star yet - given time, the wood here will certainly die down & let the fruit shine. So hold on to this if you can for 2-4.
Personally, I will never again eat cake after someone blows on it…
